06 May 2010 Back in Alberta!!
And um ugh lol
So we left Arches after 10 wonderful days with our newest and dear friends, Robbie & Alice and Dick & Jackie!(miss you guys!!!) We hit the road and made some good time north bound. We stopped in Idaho Falls for a couple days. Got the rig cleaned up, did some lazing around and laundry hehe. Then blazed up to Clancy, Montana, home of the 3 pound roast dinner lol! Found a little bar that had an amazing "Prime rib end dinner" for 18 bucks. sounded good til we each got our 3+ pound chunk of meat! O.o We did our best and, well, Jack ate heartily for a few days lol. Neat little park just off the interstate. To our surprize it was very quiet. After about 10 or 11 the traffic was minimal and by the time we hit the hay it was almost non-existent. Pricey but a good spot to stop on the way home. Customs was uneventful, huzzah!! Spent the night in Nanton, AB then back on the road. We hit some horrific weather around Calgary... figgers... Rain, snow, sleet, wind... needless to say, I wanted to turn it around and head back south!! But we blazed through it, exchanged some nasty words and evil thoughts (ok well I had evil thoughts, I won't speak for Gary *insert cheezygrin here*)
So we made it to the farm outside Westlock, AB. Collected mail and sorted through 6 months of crap LOL Now we are getting everything out of storage and into our own sheds here at Gary's mom and dads farm. The long weekend is coming up and I soooo cant wait to see all my family as our "sister weekend" has gone native and we are inviting others to help us celebrate Janet's 65th birthday! I wonder how the heck i got a sister soooooo old *shrug* o well, shes amazing, so its no wonder shes my sister :) After that weekend we are either going fishing or Gary is checking on his work situation. Then, if he gets a job in the right spot then I'm back to work with the lovely ladies and Shane at Guardian Drugs in Gibbons!
